In these speeches the people had different speaking styles. The first one wasn’t really exciting because he was flat he didn’t pause or changed the tone of his voice. The second one was very interesting but he was talking too fast probably because it was preventing him to cry. The third one I loved because he paused so it made us think about it, he wasn’t too fast and he wasn’t too slow which made it interesting and good at the same time. Finally the fourth speech was very good I loved how he spoke, his tone was loud and passionate. I really liked Charlie Chaplin's speech because he was passionate and he was positive about everything that he said, the thing that moved me was the music and the images.

                                                                                             George and Lennie
Lennie would not survive without George:

Taking care of yourself is a really difficult job.  If you are someone named Lennie it is an even more difficult job. Lennie is an irresponsible child. He always makes the wrong decisions and needs someone to take care of him. In Weed, Lennie saw a girl wearing a beautiful dress. He started to touch the dress, then grab it. The little girl thought that Lennie was rapping her so she started to yell. Because of that he got kicked out from Weed. Good thing that George came with him because he wouldn’t survive as well without him. George feeds him and gives him good advice. Lennie can’t even get wood by himself without making a stupid mistake. In every page of the book it shows that he can’t survive without George.

Picture
Candy is an really old man that has a really old dog. George is starting to be friends with him. George and Candy are quite similar. Candy is really attached to his dog even if he is old and useless and George keeps hanging out with Lennie even if he really annoys him. Carlson really doesn't like Candy's dog, he just want to kill him  I think since he doesn't have any friends he thinks that his dog is his friend.
